Job description
The Senior HR Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating HR operations across several European countries, with a primary focus on Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Finland, ensuring efficient HR processes, compliance, and a high-quality employee experience, with the following responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, across multiple European countries.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, labor regulations, and company policies, particularly in Switzerland and Germany.
- Act as the main HR Operations contact for employees, managers, payroll providers, and external partners within the assigned countries.
- Maintain accurate HR data, documentation, reporting, and employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, HR projects, and process standardization across the region.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HR Operations, International HR Administration, Shared Services, or a similar HR function.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Swiss and German labor environments, employment practices, and HR operational processes.
- Fluent English and German (written and spoken) are mandatory.
- Knowledge of Spanish will be highly valued.
- Experience supporting Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark) and/or additional European countries will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
