Job description

The Sales Engineer is responsible for the development and preparation of technical and commercial offers for projects, with the following responsibilities:

  • Analyse the client's needs and propose the most appropriate technical solution.
  • Carry out the technical calculation and economic estimation of the projects.
  • Monitor the revision of the offers.
  • Carry out the transfer of information on new projects to the production department
  • Comply with quality, safety and environmental standards, make proposals for improvement and innovation and collaborate with the team in any similar task to achieve the objectives of the area.

Requirements

Education and academic training

  • Degree in Engineering —HVAC, Automation, Construction or a related field is required

Experience & Knowledge

  • At least 5 years of experience doing offers/quotations for HVAC projects are required
  • Experience in HVAC engineering and a strong technical background in engineering are required
  • Experience in the Clean Room industry or related technical fields is valued
  • Proficiency in Clean Room standards (e.g., ISO classifications), design principles, airflow dynamics, filtration systems, and contamination control measures is valued

IT/Office software

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, CAD and software for viewing designs is required
  • Experience with CRM platforms for sales process management is valued

Languages

  • Advanced/fluent level of Finnish is required
  • Advanced/fluent level of English is required

Geographical mobility

  • Availability to do short and occasional trips in Finland is required in order to meet clients, attend industry events, or oversee project installations.
